Kapa haka festival

Last week we had our kapa haka festival and we did amazing but there were some things we could have improved on. We got to school and we went straight to our class that we had sorted to get dressed in before, then we got dressed. We got our moko on and boy did we look good! Then we got our pictures done, we got our pictures done before the girls got their lipstick on! Then we got our lipstick done we looked really good now.  Then we got all lined up after everyone was ready and got on the bus on the bus ride we went through our bracket, but it was not with everyone on the bus other classes in our syndicate were on different buses. When we got there we got lined up in our lines but the 2 first rows got their pupu on (thats me) it was a real struggle and we hardly got it on, they were soo tight that it was hard to breath! Then we went back to our lines and ran over our bracket really softly and we sounded amazing. Then we got called over to the stage entrance and we waited for about 10 minutes for the man to stop talking and when he did I had the worst case of butterflies in my tummy . We walked on stage and the kaia yelled whakapiri and we bunched together and sang, we were delightful! When we finished we were soo happy then after watching 2 other schools our other syndicate's came on then we sang together our school song we looked and sounded amazing.
